Overview
I recently required a method or tool that could strip the Revit model from everything except what is visible in the current view. I was aware of an add-in that could do just this, but was unable to find it anywhere.

I recently required a method or tool that could strip the Revit model from everything except what is visible in the current view. I was aware of an add-in that could do just this, but was unable to find it anywhere.
That's when I came across this handy tip:
1. Create a 3D view, using filters and model category visibility to display only the elements that you want to share
2. Create a new Sheet using "None" as the titleblock
3. Drag the 3D view onto the blank sheet
4. Right-Click on the Sheet and choose "Save to New File", and specify a destination path for the new stripped model
Done!
